Glendo State Park is a 22,000 acre park in Platte County Wyoming, and exists on and around Glendo Reservoir. The park is administered by the State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails division of Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources. With 10,000 acres of land and 12,000 acres of water, our park has a wide variety of recreation options.
The Tower is an astounding geologic feature that protrudes out of the prairie surrounding the Black Hills. It is considered sacred by Northern Plains Indians and indigenous people. Hundreds of parallel cracks make it one of the finest crack climbing areas in North America.
